Client Relationship Manager

Our client is looking for a Client Relationship Manager to fill this national position within the Traralgon region of East Gippsland and the La Trobe Valley.

This is a regional role but with eyes on the broader national prospective that requires someone who understands the RTO sector, as well as delivery, design and business services within the oil and gas sector.  They are a National leader in training WHS specifically within the Minining and Resource's sector.

The position:

As a client relationship manager the main focus is building networks. Organically and from new markets as well as managing and fostering the existing relationships via disciplined and coordinated marketing and relationship building. Other duties and responsibilities include:
  • Understand Client's training matrix requirements, and where possible, obtain future client plans for training as far into the future as possible to assist with internal financial and demand forecasting.  
  • Coordinate subject matter experts to attend client meetings (Delivery and Product), to support providing a best possible solution to the client and to present the company as the leaders in the training and workforce development field
  • Proposals are to be completed after a thorough scoping of the client’s needs has been completed
  • Utilise internal Operations and Product SMEs through the appropriate phases of obtaining client requirements and during client product design and build phases to ensure that specifications meet client expectations
Industry prerequisites:
  • Previous client relationship management experience desirable
  • Experience or product knowledge of working in a training organisation
  • Contracts, tender or procurement experience essential
  • Clear, concise and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent process facilitation and consulting skills and service ethic
  • Facilitate meetings with high level clients
  • Business, commerce, marketing related degree preferable
