Are you interested in kick-starting your HR career within a small and supportive People Engagement team?  We are looking for a tech savvy self-starter to mould and shape into our next rising HR star to join the team at our Support  Office located in Camberwell!

We currently have an exciting opportunity that would ideally suit a HR or Business/Commerce graduate looking for their first role. Please note that this is a 6 month contract. 

Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API) is one of Australia's leading health and beauty companies. API is the parent company of Priceline Pharmacy, Soul Pattinson Chemists, and Pharmacist Advice.

Main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing timely and accurate HR administrative support to internal stakeholders
  • Support and assist the team with the onboarding of new team members including adverting, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, reference checks and new employee documentation
  • Prepare of all employment related documentation
  • Navigating of API's recently implements online HRIS system (SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Work collaboratively with teams across all areas of the business to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required including reporting

As our ideal candidate you will be a quick learner with the ability to adapt and have the confidence to engage with internal stakeholders at all levels of the business. Your initiative will see you ask good questions and challenge stakeholders with the intent of achieving great outcomes.

Some of your skills and attributes will be:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business  
  • Previous exposure to a corporate retail environment would be preferred but not essential
  • Previous exposure to a HRIS system (SAP SuccessFactors) would be highly regarded
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
