YOUR NEW ROLE
My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Workplace Relations candidate to provide core expertise/advice and support in IR & ER matters. Reporting into the Executive Manager People and Performance you will be responsible for, but limited to.
- Ensure the provision of a broad range of Human Resources services aligned with the requirements and expectations of Council, business and operational plans
- Provide strategic direction and expert advice with a particular focus on employee and industrial relations.
- Deliver on allocated programs and projects that move the organisation toward achieving high performance.
- Provide consulting services and work collaboratively to deliver organisation-wide initiatives.
- Manage and lead a team of 2
- Provide policy direction in allocated Human Resources matters;
- Lead provision of business partnering services including recruitment and selection, performance management, industrial relations and workplace change, ensuring the team has the skills, capability and teamwork to deliver services to the required standard;
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate
- Tertiary qualification in HR or a related filed
- Experience leading HR practices in medium to large organisations
- Solid experience in Industrial Relations/Employee Relations
- Exceptional Communication skills
- Experience in delivering projects
