About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Brisbane on a fixed term maternity leave contract for 12 months. Commencement for the role would be mid – late August.
  
Reporting to the HR Superintendent - Regional, you will be tasked with providing a wide range of operational and strategic support across broad HR & ER functions.
 
In this varied role, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Support the capability development of leaders through coaching and advice on related people matters
  • Act as the key point of contact for leaders for key HR processes 
  • Provide advice to leaders in relation to ER matters including performance management, workplace conduct and investigations to ensure compliance with relevant legislation  
  • Drive the development and delivery of key HR projects to achieve commercially focused HR solutions 
  • Partner with the business to provide HR solutions to support business and people strategiesy

About You

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
  • Minimum three - five years' HR experience ideally within a heavy industrial, manufacturing or mining environment 
  • Enterprise Agreement interpretation and legislative compliance experience
  • Experience with performance, grievance and conflict management
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Ability to coach, influence and develop the capability of others
  • Ability to operate across multiple levels across various disciplines within the business
