The Role

The AECOM Human Resources Team has Fixed Term 12 month opportunity for a Business Partner with 3 - 7 years experience to join our Brisbane team, working with a diverse range of client groups. As a trusted advisor, this role will see you cover all generalist functions across the employee lifecycle including Workforce Planning, Employee Relations, Performance & Talent Management, Remuneration Management and Retention & Engagement. Your understanding of your client groups' businesses, in conjunction with your expertise across a broad range of HR issues will enable you to provide complex advice and guidance.

This is a true partnering role, working with business leaders to proactively drive HR practices that will increase the engagement of our people, contributing to organisational success.

In addition to partnering with business leaders within your key client groups, you will work as part of a core team of HR Specialists both regionally and nationally enabling you to further extend your skills and knowledge as a HR Practitioner. Reporting directly to the Regional HR Manager, you will actively contribute to the ANZ HR Strategy development and will support and assist the effective implementation of all Global, APAC and Regional HR Strategies.

Your success as a Human Resources Business Partner at AECOM will be driven by your ability to build rapport with internal clients and develop strong professional relationships. You will bring with you demonstrated success in delivering people advice and solutions that meet strategic and operational business needs. Your knowledge of contemporary HR Practices and industry trends will enable you to challenge business leaders on traditional approaches to business issues, whilst maintaining a client-focused approach.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Business/Commerce majoring in Human Resources, or similar);
  • 3 - 7 years' experience working in Human Resources in a dynamic environment.
