The Job
This role is a pivotal management position in the Organisation, with a focus on enabling the business to continue to offer improved services and solutions to our customers. This begins internally by providing our employees with a progressive culture and supportive framework to enable them to utilise their capabilities, to exceed our customer's expectations.
The role will play a key part in developing the existing HR structure & processes and provide a strategic focus with practical solutions to implement improvements across the organization.
Your ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels will enable you to be successful in;
- Coaching Team-leaders/Managers to lead their teams effectively.
- Delivering recruitment & retention strategies
- Leading Employee training & development planning
- Providing advice on Employment/ IR Law and ensuring legal obligations are met.
- Developing effective Performance management systems.
- Standardizing Systems across multiple sites.
- Compliance to OH&S law & Work Cover processes.
To be considered for this role, it is highly desirable that applicants possess the following:
- A leader, with excellent communication skills and capable of building teams.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, with demonstrated HR experience (10yrs minimum).
- Well-developed knowledge of Employment/IR law and HR Best practise.
- Understanding of Fair Work and National Employment Standards is an essential requirement.
- Experience in developing talent and coaching employees.
- Excellent planning, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage & work across multiple sites.
- OH&S Law and demonstrated experience in WorkCover case management.
- Operational leadership experience will be highly regarded.
