Job description

Woodhams Relocation Centre is looking for a stellar Client Account Manager to manage the relocation of internationally-known client employees and their families. We specialise in making the transition for the transferring employee as smooth as possible, whilst at the same time contributing to the productivity of the Client organisation.

Woodhams' excellent reputation, earned over 25 years, has led to continued growth and the need for a customer-focused individual to join our Melbourne office principally to manage relocation assignments and nurture your portfolio of clients.

You’ll be an integral part of the team - not just in Melbourne - but the whole company. You’ll have autonomy in your role

The role mainly involves:

Relocation Assignment Management

  • Coordination of service delivery (home search, schools, household goods moving, visas etc.) for transferees and their families
  • Liaising with clients (often HR), transferees and their families
  • Purchasing and organising services on behalf of clients
  • Coordination with our field staff
  • Using ReloTracker, RelocationOnline and other software used in the management of relocation services
  • Serving as point of contact for and resolution of escalated issues; escalate issues further to Client Services Director as appropriate

Client Relationships

  • Nurture and develop relationships & opportunities with client personnel, with a focus on timely responsiveness

Relocation Consultant

  • Researching and then accompanying executives and their families on home search, school search and orientation days out.
  • Providing advice on how and where to get things done

Projects

  • We’re a small business and projects crop up all the time!

 

What You Have

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred. Read more to see if you fit the bill.

We’re looking for a team member who knows how to delight customers. We’re looking for a dynamic individual who gets customer service, knows how to be organized and likes working as part of a team effort. Extra points for experience in global mobility/relocation or account management.

  • You enjoy building relationships with sensitivity at multiple levels within client organizations
  • You take pride in everything you produce with attention to detail
  • You understand people and business: you relate well to different stakeholders, and naturally empathise with the challenges they face every day.
  • You’re the most motivated person you know: you’re getting things done, juggling and prioritising naturally where you need to. You like to think, reflect and plan, but when it’s all said and done…you’re a doer.
  • You’re flexible and don’t mind ‘mucking in’ on whatever needs to be done.
  • You’re a positive, happy person who listens to others: you’re genuine and transparent in your interactions with people
  • You have experience of relocating interstate or internationally
  • You have advanced knowledge of various software packages including but not limited to Microsoft products and Outlook
