If you are looking for a new challenge and being a key player in the establishment of a HR function within a growing organisation at an exciting time of growth, this will fit the bill! Reporting to a great CFO you will have influence at a Senior level and will be called upon for your expertise!
This will be a truely generalist, stand alone role and will be responsible for all aspects of the HR lifecycle from recruitment & on-boarding through to exit interviews. You will be the go to on all things HR for a growing SME and developing relationships internally will be paramount to your success.
Responsibilities of the role will include;
- Coordinating recruitment and selection for the organisation
- On-boarding (contracts, updated details, setting up on payroll etc.)
- Establishing and implementing company policies
- Suggesting/setting up HR reporting metrics
- Working with management to establish best practice
- Supporting and coaching managers through ER issues
- Travel to offices between Sydney and Newcastle
- Build strong internal relationships to influence as necessary
- Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date
If you have the confidence to get in and build relationships whilst showcasing your HR experience - this will be a role that will see you grow professionally. Required experience;
- At least 3 years in a HR role (administrative or otherwise)
- A great attitude and the - 'get things done' approach
- The ability to work autonomously and follow your own direction
- The ability to communicate - both written and verbal (you will be managing upwards)
- The flexibility to travel between Sydney and Newcastle (on occasion)
