THE POSITION

Wilson Security is a people-centric business and we are on the hunt for a proactive and motivated Human Resources Advisor who can add real value to our organisation. In this position, you will provide the full spectrum of HR and employee relations support to the WA stakeholder group.

We are specifically looking for someone who wants to work 3 days per week (must be Wednesday to Friday) in a permanent part-time role, and who is keen to take on a busy and challenging position. This role isn't for the faint-hearted! We need someone who can manage a high workload.

The position will include but will not be limited to:

  • End to end employee relations including performance management, conducting workplace investigations and managing the disciplinary process
  • Providing advice and support to line managers on ER matters, industrial instrument interpretation and other queries
  • Supporting cyclical HR activities including the employee engagement survey, annual PDR process and talent management initiatives
  • Working with the HR Manager to manage a high workload

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor role where employee relations was a key focus area, preferably in a unionised environment
  • Strong administrative skills, well organised and able to juggle multiple tasks - dynamic, and action-orientated, who meets deadlines and makes it happen
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levels
  • An enthusiastic and approachable personality
  • An excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to earn trust and credibility
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, but also must be enthusiastic team player
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management is mandatory
