An exciting opportunity has become available for a well-rounded and dynamic HR Manager to join our high performing National HR Team.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will partner with business leaders to ensure effective workforce management and compliance while contributing to the development and implementation of HR programs, processes, systems and policies in line with the HR strategy and business priorities.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Providing pro-active advice, guidance and support in relation to performance management, culture, succession and development, employee relations and business improvement and remuneration and benefits
• Actively managing change to ensure the successful delivery of business outcomes and strategic HR programs, balancing the delivery of day to day HR support.
• Delivering training and ongoing coaching on key topics such as performance management, EEO/respectful workplaces and other topics as identified to improve organisational performance
• Ensuring the effective recruitment, selection, induction and training of employees to meet agreed business unit need
• Providing accurate and timely industrial relations advice and award/agreement/legislation interpretation and assist in the management and prevention of industrial claims or disputes
• Analysing workforce planning data ensuring relevant workforce management plans are in place and active
• Conducting exit Interviews and analysing data for decision making and improvements

As our successful candidate, you are a true generalist HR Manager with proven experience in a similar role with a wide scope of responsibility ideally within an industrial setting. You are energetic and proactive with an exceptional persistence and tenacity matched only by your drive for success. The ability to build great relationships with business stakeholders and a relentless focus on customer service is essential.  You will stand out from the rest by your excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as great organisational skills and strong team work approach. Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field will be highly regarded and experience in the negotiation of Enterprise Agreements is essential.
