Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

Due to parental leave cover we are currently seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our Gold Coast team. Reporting to the Director of HR, this hands-on leadership role will be responsible for delivering a wide range of HR initiatives and projects that support the strategic and operational needs of the business. You will be a proven leader, operationally and strategically focussed and be well experienced as a HR generalist with high level skill in managing IR matters. You will partner with business leaders and provide practical, business savvy HR advice to ensure best practice, and drive change across all areas of our diverse business.
  
To step into this role, you will be a confident, consultative and an influential leader who can build solid working relationships, working collaboratively with managers across all levels of the business. A passion and enthusiasm for people and culture combined with true leadership experience is a must.
 
In addition you will have:
  • Proven experience in a similar senior role
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources combined with strong IR experience
  • Good understanding of Modern Awards and implications on payroll and operational business needs
  • Strong generalist HR background and a track record in demonstrating successful change outcomes
  • Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills to partner with the business
  • Proven ability to engage with and influence a variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes
  • Strong focus on relationships to effectively operate on an operational level as you utilise your proven capability to get things done
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Ability to accurately report on data using advanced excel functions
  • Experience in managing and motivating a small team to achieve team and business outcomes
