Cire Service Inc is an advanced community based not-for-profit organisation currently based in Yarra Junction, moving soon to brand new offices in Lilydale with on-site free parking. Cire provides a broad range of services within the Yarra Ranges covering our independent secondary school campuses at Yarra Junction and Mt. Evelyn, our RTO delivering a wide range of training programs as well as our Childcare Services spanning the region of the Yarra Valley.
Cire is a Child Safe organisation.
The role:
The current HR contract requires the expertise of an experienced senior professional, based within the People & Culture Team and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, will work with all Executive to review existing HR and broader organisational policies (eg. Privacy Act) and be responsible for checking that policies and procedures are consistent with Cire's and legislated requirements. In addition, it will be important to be involved in learning and development activities to ensure that employees gain a strong working knowledge of these policies and application to their role and their Business Unit. This role calls for an articulate and organised senior HR practitioner who has deep HR knowledge and broad experience as well as a commitment to HR compliance and developing knowledge in others either through face-to-face presentations or e-Learning.
With Cire Services Inc. growing through community demand, there is potential for this role to shift from contract to permanent.

Whilst this role is ideally full-time, part-time will be considered for the right candidate.
About you:
The successful applicant would ideally have:
- Considerable and senior HR experience with strong knowledge of the integration of all HR functional areas to enable to draw on that skill and experience
- Tertiary qualified in a human resources, compliance/governance, psychology, business or relevant alternative
- Experience working in a not-for-profit or secondary educational institution or children's services organisation, but not essential
- Experience working with senior executive
- An ability to sift through facts and develop practical and well constructed solutions and working documents
- Demonstrated experience working with people who are at risk;
- Strong organisational skills and high PC literacy
