icare is currently seeking an experienced Learning and Development Advisor with a collaborative approach and a passion for industry best practice to join the icare team!

We’re looking for someone to support the Learning and Development activity at an enterprise level across icare, ensuring that our people are upskilled with training that is relevant, engaging and effective.

You’ll be working with a diverse mix of collaborative, passionate and driven people who really care about making a difference for people and the NSW community. You will have a mind for getting things done and a heart for people and you will set the bar high through the quality of the work you do and the people-oriented decisions you make.

You’ll bring your experience in the end-to end designing, analysing and delivering training programs from within a professional industry. You’ll be experienced in partnering with HR teams and will be a collaborative high performer. With your growth mindset you’ll have a drive to learn and will bring a ‘can-do’ attitude to the team. You’ll enjoy sharing your knowledge and will be confident to build relationships across the business. A cert IV in training and assessment would be advantageous and experience in conducting training needs analysis will be key in this fast-paced environment.

It’s an exciting environment where no two days are the same. But on a typical day you might find yourself:

  • Facilitating and coordinating icare induction programmes
  • Partnering with and advising HR Business Partners to achieve training outcomes
  • Conducting needs analysis to identify training requirements
  • Utilising a range of L&D technology to support training including icare Academy and LinkedIn Learning
  • Designing, coordinating, running and analysing training programs
  • Building business relationships with a range of external vendors
  • Reporting on training uptake, future programs and insights
  • Reviewing and improving existing training materials
