We now have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Services Consultant to join our People, Safety and Culture team in Southbank on a Full Time Permanent basis.

Reporting to the HR Services Lead you will be a first point of contact and play a key role in providing administrative support in a shared services environment for employee life cycle tasks.

This role interacts with a variety of personnel including field and office workers, EBA employees, senior leaders, professional disciplines, and remote workers. As such, the incumbent needs to demonstrate affinity for working well with people of all backgrounds.

Working within a dynamic, evolving environment, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate position and personnel data in HRIS
  • Administrative maintenance and use of systems including chris21, NGA.net (eRecruit), Navigo (Org Charts), Verify and SHL (pre-employment checks), Job boards including Seek and LinkedIn
  • Administrative support for full employee lifecycle
  • Producing HR reports as requested
  • Validating data and reports
  • Resolving and responding to employee and management queries
  • Providing policy interpretation and procedure advice
  • Actively participating as a HR Support Services group member, contributing to the achievement of team goals and imperatives.

To excel in this position you will have the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in a HR shared services environment or HR Administrator/Coordinator role
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, or related discipline (Desirable)
  • Working knowledge and experience with CHRIS 21 (Desirable)
