- Instructional Designer required for large-scale eLearning program
- Working with both creative and technical tools to develop various design models
- 3 month initial contract
About our client:
We are representing a number of Departments within the NSW Government space that are offering roles within their respective Learning Management divisions, with this particular role sitting in Ashfield, decent money, and a heavy focus on instructional technology and eLearning content.
About the role
You will be someone who is adept at both thinking strategically about difficult LMS problems and be required to design and develop e-learning activities & course content that enhances retention and transfer. You will be tasked with designing exercises and activities that enhance the learning process and develop criteria used to judge a learner’s performance.
About the ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, but in short you will have:
- Proven experience in an Instructional Designer or equivalent role
- Able to identify instructional end goals and create content to match them
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
- Knowledge and experience in using Captivate
- Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
