About GOC Care

GOC Care is a community based provider of multicultural support services in Aged Care, Disability and other community based programs. We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced professional to join us in this full-time permanent position.

About the Role

Working with the Human Resources Coordinator, you will assist in all HR related functions and activities, with specific responsibility for coordinating Work Health and Safety across the organisation. Located in South Brisbane, the ability to travel is an essential requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work, Health and Safety, including hazard/risk management, investigations and reporting
  • Recruitment end to end and employment screening
  • Training and development, including on boarding/induction and management of the Training Calendar
  • Assisting with the implementation of new HR initiatives
  • Dealing with enquiries
  • HR records management

The Ideal Person

It is expected you will be a highly motivated HR professional who is passionate about recruitment, training and the maintenance of proactive and effective systems, including safety management. You will also possess the following:

  • Qualifications in Human Resources/Work Health and Safety
  • 2 years’ experience working in Human Resources
  • Sound knowledge and experience of maintaining Work Health and Safety systems and registers
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft software (Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Full drivers licence
  • Current Criminal History Check clearance
  • Understanding of the Community Services and Not for Profit sectors
