Balgownie Estate is seeking a passionate and vibrant Graphic Designer with a minimum 5 years’ experience to join a busy Marketing team to produce print and digital projects. The successful candidate will be available to work on casual basis 2 full days a week and will act as a mentor and provide guidance to a Junior Designer.
The key responsibilities in this role will include:
- High proficiency using Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Typographic skills and knowledge
- Excellent understanding of pre and post production quality checks with the ability to pick up any potential issues and resolving them
- Ability to think strategically to enhance design effectiveness
- An ability to work under pressure with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively with excellent workflow management of design tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong digital experience
- An ability to see all work through to finished art
- Ability to allocate tasks and oversee design work of Junior Designer
- A strong ability to conceptualise and provide strategic recommendations on new campaigns

Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design
- Projects demonstrating a high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated experience in designing a wide range of material both digital and print
- Ideally will have experience in an in-house creative department or advertising agency
Drivers licence & reliable car essential as no public transport available
Candidates must have full eligible working rights in Australia.
