As the Video Producer, you will be an integral part of LEAP’s Marketing Team. You will be responsible for training our clients through video, so that they can maximise their LEAP investment and successfully run their firm. You will also provide value to the business across other video projects for both client acquisition and retention.


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will become an expert in LEAP’s features and benefits. Day-to-day you’ll be collaborating with other marketing and product experts who are experienced across design, data, content, sales, training and more. Your creativity, technical skill and clear communication style will result in you creating a library of engaging video content.

What You Will Be Focusing On

• Presenting ideas to increase client satisfaction and engagement, both within and outside video production.
• Developing and leading the vision for LEAP’s video program.
• Creating a variety of videos:

  1. Instructional training videos for clients, ranging from how to use a simple feature to explaining complex processes in LEAP.
  2. Promotional videos to engage and inspire potential future clients, for use on the company website, social media and in emails.
  3. Additional ad hoc video production such as for recruitment, communicating survey results, webinar editing, internal activities etc.

• Managing all aspects of video production including planning, storyboarding, scripting, screen recording, voiceover, captioning, music selection, motion graphics and editing.
• Ensuring content, length, tone and style requirements are met to a high standard.
• Working closely with other channel experts in the Marketing Team to amplify each video’s reach and increase resulting engagement.
• Developing strong relationships with the Sales, Operations and Implementations to discover key challenges and presenting video solutions.
• Taking appropriate actions to continually improve LEAP’s library of video content, including reviewing video feedback and engagement metrics.
• Educating the Marketing Team on video trends and LEAP product benefits.
• Providing insights to the wider business on the value video production.


What You’ll Need to Be Successful


You will be a highly articulate professional, with the desire to provide highly engaging content and the technical skills to execute at a consistently high standard. You will enjoy an agile environment as part of a highly collaborative team, and possess the following skills and qualities:
• Outstanding verbal communication skills, including clear articulation of a product’s features and benefits.
• Understanding of the legal industry and how to communicate with legal professionals.
• Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for creating highly engaging experiences and a keen interest in video
marketing trends.
• The motivation to constantly learn and develop the vision for our video content.
• Strong time management skills, including discernment of which projects are of
greatest value to the company and Marketing Team.
• A love of collaboration, both within the Marketing Team and other departments.
• A balance of creativity and analysis to develop innovative video strategies that are
based on client information and engagement metrics.
• Knowledge of best practice video production techniques.
• Experience producing videos in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro is highly desirable, however training can be provided.
• Experience communicating through video with B2B audiences in the legal or technology industry preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related field such as marketing, communications, information technology, accounting or law.
