We are a small team with big minds and we are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our full-service national agency which is conveniently located in Perth's Northern suburbs. A dynamic, fast growing, and highly productive independent agency, we specialise in creating and repositioning brands full circle across WA and VIC. 

The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in branding, design and advertising, be strategically minded, highly organised, and be willing to be hands on to get things done. You will be of a curious nature and relish the opportunity to shape your own career.

You will ensure effective collaboration between internal teams and provide key support to the Head of Account Management. Most importantly you will be a much loved and influential part of our family. 

As a part of the senior client service team, you'll autonomously run your own projects side by side with the  Head of Account Management, and be responsible for your billings, profitability and retention of your client base. 

You'll love our clients, know their brands inside out, be in tune to issues and opportunities and be relentlessly proactive. In return clients will love your can-do, positive attitude and feel like anything is possible.

You will also be responsible for supervising, mentoring and managing members of the junior client service team, as well as leading by example.

Make no mistake; this role requires an individual with knowledge and understanding that goes beyond the superficial with the conceptual skills to deliver 'customer-focused' solutions with substance.

Role Overview

  • Working alongside the Head of Account Management, to set the benchmark for outstanding client management, helping drive strategic thinking and delivering campaign elements across projects on time and on budget.
  • Challenging thinking across the wider team to come up with breakthrough work
  • Identifying required resources on projects and ensuring workflow is managed accordingly
  • Working within required budgets and timelines
  • Understanding of strategy, communications design and other disciplines as required
  • Responsibility for financial management of campaigns and projects – overseeing assigned team's financial management and development
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with key clients
  • Thinking ahead, anticipating issues to deliver the best client outcomes and ensure maximum efficiencies and objectives are met
  • Contribute to a collaborative, professional team culture
  • Build a thorough understanding of the client's business

Skills and Experience

  • Between 2-4 years agency experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & lead complex strategic projects and manage multiple stakeholders across multiple jobs within the agency
  • Demonstrated project management experience 
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Strong Powerpoint & presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the production process of all advertising channels 
  • Ability to grow revenue within the client base
  • Strong understanding of agency/client finances
  • Highly organised with attention to detail, resilience and determination to achieve desired results
  • Competence to gain swift overview of situations and prioritise required actions
  • Tenacity and ingenuity, not afraid to roll your sleeves up and help when needed
