This work is ideal for professionally qualified, technically proficient editors who love making content clear, helpful and relevant. You need experience in substantive editing, using Excel and/or databases, and content management systems. You also need to be comfortable working to tight deadlines with both high quality and high volume output. Experience in document design (and Apple Mac) would be a distinct advantage, as would experience marketing activities.
You need to:
- be an experienced editor of complex content
- have done substantive structural editing (not just copyediting)
- handle busy production workflows and deliveries
- work with and develop MS Word document templates
- edit using InDesign
- use content management systems
- be comfortable with client liaison.
You must also have:
- a university degree
- editing qualifications

- an excellent knowledge of grammar
- intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, Adobe and InDesign, at the very least
- great time management and scheduling skills.
We will mentor and support you, but you need the relevant qualifications and experience to start with. We test short-listed applicants on skills directly relevant to the job.
We will review all applications that have a covering letter or email.
