The Armidale Express is seeking an experienced and talented Journalist to join an exciting team.
Based in Armidale, in the beautiful New England region, the successful applicant for this role will have the chance to build ties with the community and deliver news across digital and print platforms for the Armidale Express, The Guyra Argus and other Fairfax ACM network publications.
We seek an enthusiastic and creative journalist to produce and publish accurate and compelling content that meets the needs of our audience, regardless of how they access news.
Reporting to the Group Editor, Northern Tablelands, you will have:
- Previous journalistic experience
- Excellent writing skills
- Be willing and able to take photos and video
- Good news sense and general knowledge plus a strong community focus
- Collaborate with other journalists, the sales department and other ACM colleagues to implement editorial initiatives that will reaffirm the dominant position of our mastheads in their respective markets
- The highest ethical standards of independent journalism.
