Your Money is an exciting new media business formed by a groundbreaking partnership between Nine and Australian News Channel (Sky News). The 24-hour channel will broadcast and stream business news, real estate, luxury lifestyle and personal finance on a Nine free-to-air channel, Foxtel and multiple digital services.
We have a number of Camera Operator positions that would suit creative professionals with a minimum of 4 years experience.
You will be working from a brief to collect required footage for rolling news programming, independently and collaboratively, covering live events including breaking news, press conferences, live crosses, with the ability to shoot feature interviews and outside broadcast camera operation.
To be successful in this role:
- A minimum of 4 years camera operation experience in either news gathering or outside broadcasts
- Excellent camera skills are a given but you must also be innovative and a great brand ambassador
- Demonstrable knowledge of location lighting, audio gathering, and remote TX protocols (LiveU, teradek, FTP’s etc), competence ingesting/transferring RAW footage, camera shots, and audio
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least five years ENG experience, live television experience highly regarded.
- Good communication skills, professional attitude, love for working in a team environment
- Thrive in a high pressure environment
- Passionate about visual storytelling
- Knowledge of non-linear editing systems and rolling news studio editorial workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot in the field and effectively
- Current unrestricted driver's license
