The Role

To provide advice and guidance in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information assets from unauthorized access or malicious attack. To maintain effective and workable systems security risk management across the systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and preparation of the Information Risk & Security team plans to ensure these are in line with wider business strategy and reflect key priorities.
• Provide input to Global security planning and policy creation and maintenance
• Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with business users and teams to ensure that service delivery meets their expectations.
• Ensure that high standards of service are maintained and developed to enable continuous improvement and effective response to user requests/enquiries.
• Take the lead on security incidents, managing them and carrying out robust investigations in order to identify corrective action and see the actions through to completion
• Contribute information consultancy to Change Projects, Business Initiatives and also to the wider IT Team in order to identify potential security risks and provide input which enables effective planning and action.
• Provide coaching, guidance and support to less experienced team members.
• Support others in the team where appropriate to assist in the achievement of their objectives.

Essential

• Demonstrable experience with security and risk based standards such as ISO2700, ISO31000, NIST800 and PCI-DSS and other relevant security risk standards and technologies.
• Previous information security experience in a similar role.
• Experience of working with outsourced service partners.
• Flexible and able to apply skills in all types of threat environments.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Able to communicate technical information to business users.
• Excellent customer service focus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to proactively manage customer expectations
