Hawksworth are sourcing an Agile Project Manager onsite with a major Aussie Retailer in Sydney through a global consultancy.

We are offering a highly competitive daily rate of up to $1200/day. This piece of work will go for at least 18 months, on a 6 months rolling contract.

You will be responsible for running a stream of their data platform transformation program. The team would be a mix of onshore and offshore (approx. 30 in total). You will have a strong background and demonstrated experience in managing big data and Hadoop projects, and any experience with SAP is also beneficial but not essential. I

The successful candidate will be someone who can help build a larger presence with the client within the program. Therefore it is essential that you have strong stakeholder management and a strong PM discipline is essential. Agile experience and setting up the delivery capability is also needed.

Experience:

• 5 years+ Project Management experience
• Implementation / delivery focussed PM
• Big Data – Project Manager (Hadoop)
• Strong Agile experience, agile certified, someone who understands the mechanics and advantages and can rely these to the client
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• SAP is an advantage but not necessaryThe PM who secures this opportunity will ideally have knowledge in the insurance space and be delivery focussed.
