We are currently looking for a Devops | Automation Engineer to join our Information Security Services Business and focus on fostering an automation first culture. As part of this function you will sit across  architecture, engineering and operations and focus on setting up an agile, reliable repeatable service deployment and integration of security infrastructure to support our global business.

As part of this function you will assist with automating and integrating security tools such as Qualys and Crowdstrike, integrate and automate to ITSM, AD and introduce scripting and security hardening standards

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure CI tools, processes and methodologies are enabling us to deliver services globally
• Development and integration of security services that span network and application security, vulnerability and patch management, incident response, digital forensics, automated source code analysis and cyber security investigations
• Focus on  automation first approach to application and infrastructure deployment, setup and configuration
• Architect, design and help implement highly automated deployments to support our global operational model
• Automate and regularly review/optimise our CI processes and tools
• Identify and research  emerging technologies  and associated migration paths to provide cost effective and scalable solutions

Key Selection Criteria

• Extensive  experience with automating build, deployment and configuration of complex applications
• Deep knowledge of security architecture design principles
• Experience with automated deployment of highly scalable and available cloud, hybrid and on-prem based services
• Exposure to containers, micro-services, workload templates and automation on different platforms
• Adept with all infrastructure layer (network, storage and compute)
• Be an advocate / evangelist for a Dev SecOps culture within the development, operations and engineering teams

Technical Knowledge

• Extensive abilities with Python and / or Powershell scripting
• Ability to design and develop API's
• Any exposure to security products such as Crowdstrike or Qualys would be desirable
