THE BUSINESS
Established in 1969, the business has grown to be one of Australia’s largest privately owned meat operations. The company operates three processing sites including a pork de-boning facility, a case ready facility and an abattoir. The business serves a wide variety of markets including supermarket, retail, distributor, manufacturing and export.
THE ROLE
Reporting through to the IT Director, this newly created role is aimed to support the implementation of new, innovative software solutions at BE Campbell, as well as the enhancement and support of existing systems.
This role would perfectly suit an IT graduate with 2+ years experience in the field, looking to expand their knowledge further. The successful candidate will be exposed to a broad range of IT functions, including the opportunity to learn and work with SAP. Working in a fast paced environment, we are looking for someone who can think quickly as well as outside the square, highly motivated with strong analytical and organisational ability and good work ethic.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be required to have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Proven ability in developing software solutions in any “mainstream” OO programming language.
- Working knowledge of SQL (in any DB context)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite
- The ability to work as a team player within multifunctional teams, sharing knowledge and contributing proactively to achieving team goals
- Excellent attention to detail
