Managed Information Systems Technician
Your focus in this role will be providing day to day support for internal and external clients remotely with the potential for onsite and project work.
The role will involve:
- Provide level technical support for clients and internal staff regarding Information Systems (on-premise and hosted) and or print devices/systems;
- Respond to phone calls and e-mails through the Helpdesk from clients and internal staff regarding technical support issues (remedial or add, move and change);
- Triage support issues, resolve or escalate as required;
- Papercut, Nuance and other similar software solution support including project Deployments; and
- Covers an extensive area will mean regular traveling throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast;
- Undertake relevant training on new products/solutions to ensure service provided is current;
- Ensure internal monitoring systems are online and optimized;
- Liaise with different departments within the organization for different matters.
This role will also require some administration and co-ordination duties.
Skills, knowledge, and experience required:
- Great client focus on troubleshooting skills and perseverance to resolve technical problems;
- Team skills to work and communicate with other members;
- At least two years IT Level 2 experience;
- Industry certification (HP/Microsoft/Papercut/Cisco/Ricoh/Nuance) an advantage;
- Microsoft Server OS (W2K8, W2K12, W2K16);
- Networking certification or knowledge;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, documentation, and mentoring skills
