Senior Linux System Engineer  

  6 Month Contract (Very Likely Extensions) 
    Sydney | $700 - $850 Per Day

We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator with strong exposure to 3rd Level BAU support and Ansible, to work with a motivated team of professionals. You will be expected to have the drive to be part of a team, whilst being able to operate independently. 

We need someone experienced across BAU queues and security projects, have good Linux skills and can power through whatever comes in. 

They currently have internally generated reports with lists of vulnerabilities, could be anything, insecure versions of software, incorrect SSL certificates, patching clients not working, missing firewall rules, incorrect application config etc. Could be absolutely anything.

• Permission issues
• Server and file access setup
• Troubleshooting

Basically we are looking for someone with the following skills: 

• Extensive Linux administration 
• BAU Support
• Web Servers 
• Ansible / Powershell 
• Tomcat, Jboss, Apache, Satellite
• Strong communication skills
