Our client is building a hyper scale telecommunications network, cloud and managed services company not just in Australia but across Asia.   

Whilst boasting just over 140 staff and offices in every state including  the Brisbane CBD, this company is still in startup mode and is projecting major growth, this is a key time to join with career growth opportunities abounding.

This is the 4th startup of a highly successful entrepreneur who has already built several companies into billion dollar enterprises. 

For this role as a  Account Manager the ideal candidate will be in their early career with 3+ years of experience of working in the telecommunications industry and have a knowledge of networks and Internet access.

You will have high levels of energy, a strong attention to detail and offer great customer service. You will also have the presentation and  polish  necessary for dealing with corporate environments.

You will be given a patch of 130 accounts of small to medium enterprises and tasked with account growth and service contract renewals. The role does not  require cold calling or prospecting new accounts.

What's required is a basic knowledge of networks or IT infrastructure, cloud, hosted systems and a strong desire to learn. You will have great opportunity to develop your product knowledge together with developing your solution sales skills to further your career.

Whats required

  • Maintain excellent record and note keeping in Salesforce.com
  • Ability to communicate technical product information to customers
  • Provide feedback to marketing and sales leadership (as needed)
  • Ensure the renewal or client services contracts whilst promoting new products and services
  • Ability to actively listen and evaluate customer requirements and request actions or assistance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take initiative and be proactive

You will need

  • Ability to form strong commercial relationships with clients
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal relationships
  • Good time management skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

About you

If you feel  comfortable providing technical advice and support to clients; you have an interest in networks, IT infrastructure and cloud solutions and can back this up with infinite confidence then you will prosper in this role.
