About the business

Our clients are top tier professional services firms with cloud-first strategies, who want to work with software with exciting features and a strong roadmap.

Founded in 2010, Feynbrook started life as a Google Apps partner - helping Amnesty International Australia move email and collaboration to the cloud.  Since this, Feynbrook focused on forming strong partnerships with Intapp in 2011 and NetDocuments in 2012, and we are widely known for bringing NetDocuments to Australia.

Experts with integration and document management for law firms, we now want to develop our own suite of Products to fill the challenges our clients would like to overcome. We aim to work with the latest technologies, including Blockchain, via our partnerships with IBM, as well as our Software partners.

About the role

You will work from brand new co-working offices right by Hyde Park, with a small tight-knit team. If you are a self-starter, motivated to learn, you will be able to progress your career further with full support from our company. 

Our priority is building our own Products to license to clients, plugging any gaps in their capability. Products include, but are not limited to, Migration Tools to aid our data migration projects; Toolkit applications that will be tailored for our Software Partners and so on.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• You will work closely with all members of our team to define requirements, create solution design and implementation specifications for new Products
• You will work with multiple stakeholders to derive product enhancements with commercial value for our business
• You will collaboratively develop standards for our development process, participate in full testing and design superior technical solutions
• You will maintain development project documentation, in conjunction with your team members
• You will hold the responsibility for delivering your development schedules on time
• You will report regular project status to key stakeholders
• You will advise the business on emerging technologies and ideas

Skills and experience

We are looking for experienced developers who have the following qualities, skills and experience:

• .NET development
• Object oriented programming
• Full stack exposure
• Experience with SQL server
• Front end development
• Amazon Web Services
• REST
• Bachelor of Computer Science, or equivalent qualification
• UX/UI design concepts
• Experience in creating and contributing to technical designs and specifications
• Excellent knowledge of build and deployment processes
• 3 years minimum experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be client facing

Highly desirable:

• .NET entity framework
• Agile development experience
• Software management tools: Jira, Confluence
