POMT is a Workplace Technology solutions company based in Sydney with offices nationwide.
We are searching for our latest team member to join POMT within the Programming Team.
Working collaboratively as part of the Programming Team this role would be tasked with configuring, editing, debugging and standardizing proprietary control code. Our focus is on the continual improvement of client experience and delivery process. We are looking for suitably qualified individuals who share this motivation.
Who you are
We seek an innovative, ambitious and creative professional with proven experience and a keen interest and capability in Control Programming code and graphic design. An eye for detail and expertise across both Crestron and AMX products will be called upon on a daily basis. As this is a client facing opportunity we also seek proven customer service skills.
Training is on-going at POMT and the development of this role will be ever evolving and constantly challenging.
The role will be based in Sydney with a large portion of the install work to be delivered onsite.
Role Responsibilities:
- 3yrs minimum experience delivering complete systems
- High level skills in the Crestron Programming Suite
- Completion of Crestron CTI-P201 & DMC-E-4K Digital Media Certified Engineer
- High level Audio Visual equipment knowledge including Lighting Control Systems, DSP Audio systems, Audio routing including Ethernet based protocols and Video systems including routing over IP and streaming solutions
- Proven ability to work collaboratively
- Be able to work without close supervision
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills - clear, direct, detailed
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proven customer service skills to communicate efficiently and effectively with both internal and external customers
Highly Desirable:
- Completion of Crestron CTI-P301
- C# & C++ Programming
- Experience with Cbus or Dynalite application software
- Enthusiasm to be involved in the mentoring and development of juniors
