DevOps Engineer

I am working with one of Melbourne's best Microsoft Azure houses who are now looking for someone to join their prestigious team. You will be working with the team and the partner developers, you'll be focused on producing/adapting/enhancing Azure environments to Support their applications for enterprise and mid-tier websites. You will also be providing builds, guidance, pipeline implementation and testing tools implementation services.


 
Job Requirements 

• Strong Windows System Administration
• Commercial experience with Azure (IaaS, Paas & SaaS)
• Knowledge of .Net framework & C# development (Don't have to have developer experience)
• Implemented CI/CD pipelines with TeamCity, MS Build, VSTS, Octopus Deploy
• Source control with git
• Scripting with PowerShell
• Azure ARM Templates
• Ability to liaise confidently with a diverse range of team members and show authority when needed
• AD knowledge
• Strong working knowledge of complementary technologies including data bases (SQL and Mongo), networking, storage and backup
• Technologies.
• Ability to communicate technical information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to qualify and understand the route cause of complex technical problems. Ability to make appropriate recommendations
• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and is capable in using Jira and Confluence
• Scripting for automation and API consumption an advantage.
  
  
  Desirable Experience

• Functional knowledge of Sales and Support business processes
• Ability to not only solution but help out with hands-on development
• Python knowledge to work with our Puppet orchestration environment
