We presently have an opening for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Architect to work on complex projects that are delivering solutions which will be used by millions of people everyday. In this role you can expect to work closely with Functional, Technical and Architects, and use the latest industry standards and techniques to build robust, secure and innovative solutions.

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Architect you will be responsible for the delivery of professional consulting services to scope, design and implement enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. You will actively participate in Pre-Sales functions, solution architecture and delivery.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead architectural best practice for digital projects
• Contribute to projects and culture by defining innovative architecture solutions for complex systems
• Communicate clearly and simply with your team and colleagues
• Advising on enterprise and digital architecture strategies, processes and methodologies
• Providing consulting services to clients in providing industry specific Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution implementations, extensions and upgrades
• Participating in design workshops
• Participating in the assessment of RFPs and RFQs 
• Participating in the writing of RFP and RFQ responses with specific responsibility for Microsoft Dynamics 365 estimates and designs
• Assisting with proof of concept demonstrations 
• Providing professional consulting services for the scoping, implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Working as part of the Digital Solutions practice.

To be successful in this role you will require the following skills / experience:

• Experience producing architectural artefacts to communicate an understanding of the organisations current, target business and ICT architectures
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, technical design and development
• Good stakeholder management expertise
• Comprehensive and successful experience in pre-sales activity, including tender responses, proof of concept and presentations
• High level of confidence, drive and motivation.
• Extensive experience in CRM professional services delivery, minimum of 3 years with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Hands-on, documented experience of at least 4 Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementations
• Demonstrated experience leading Experience Design delivery throughout the life cycle of a project
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
• Strong business acumen combined with a solid and detailed understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Capable of working within a team or autonomously
• Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365
• An ability to effectively work across multiple projects and teams
• TOGAF or similar certification preferred

As Oakton’s focus is on using Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a tool to deliver enterprise level solutions, experience working on large projects across the full System Development Life Cycle will be an advantage, as will experience with formal methodologies.
