The role of the Linux Administrator at Datacom is to manage and maintain the Linux/Unix server environment while providing support services to maintain the availability and reliability of a customer's core infrastructure.

We are looking for someone who is independent but enjoys being a part of a team. A sense of independence, strong technical knowledge and good time management skills will ensure success in the role.

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

 

We expect that you will be highly competent in RedHat Enterprise Linux with enterprise experience in either spacewalk, foreman, satellite or puppet. Ideally, you will be familiar with configuring and deploying servers and developing scripts to automate system administration tasks with one or more scripting languages (Python, C, Perl or Bash).
