Ex Libris is seeking a Technical Project Manager to be based in Adelaide, Australia.

Job tasks and responsibilities
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing Ex Libris products and services across Asia Pacific (APAC)
- Participate and contributes in process improvement, global initiative, and work standardization across APAC
- Act as overall primary point of contact for the customer project team
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing requirements
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope
- Perform Ex Libris product configuration, based on customer's requirements
- Analyze and troubleshoot customer issues and requests, provide first line support to customers during implementation cycle
- Provide product training to customers, via Web-based or on-site training
Skills and experience
Relevant education:
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent qualification or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Masters' degree in Library Science will be an added advantage
Required professional experience
- At least 2 years' relevant experience is required
- Background in library workflows/standards is strongly preferred
- Customer service experience in a library or other business/technical setting is desirable
Important skills / characteristics:
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills; must be a team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training ability.
- Ability to learn new information quickly and keep up with rapidly changing products and processes
- Technical skills including experience with UNIX, Oracle, HTML, CSS, XML, networking and authentication protocols are desirable but not essential.
