Our client is currently looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join their well established organisation which services the community on a daily basis. Excellent customer service skills are a must and technical knowledge is essential. This role will be bridging the gap between technology and business and using it as an enabler. 

This is a diverse role where you will need to be proactive and take initiative. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support IT services and software (Anti-virus, security updates, backups, etc.)
  • Going inter site to meet with vendors
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate new technology in accordance with business units
  • Friendly and effective customer service
  • Support and maintain network infrastructure (cabling, switches, etc)
  • Train other members of staff
  • Elements of Analysis
Skills/Experience:
  • Windows 10 knowledge
  • Industry certification (MCSA, MCSE, etc) 
  • Strong IT Help Desk Analyst experience
  • Experience working with broad clientele
  • Experience working under ITIL methodology is desirable
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service/facing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Analytical, logical, structured problem solver
  • Problem solver - Be able to resolve queries autonomously
  • Mitel Experience (Desirable)
  • Not For Profit experience (Desirable)

Please note it will require a minimum of 1 months fully paid for training based in Melbourne which can be flexible.
