We are looking for a passionate and eager-to-learn junior or graduate developer to join our Software Support Team. This is a great chance to jump-start your career as you will be deep-diving into the code to fix bugs and resolve user issues. What better way to set a solid foundation for your skills and understand high quality code!

A typical day in this role will see you fixing reported bugs and resolving technical issues. As part of the support team, you will be required to interact with the client and keep them updated on the status of their request and gather information where required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fixing bugs and resolving technical issues
  • Fielding client queries
  • Status updates to clients, providing estimated resolution times where possible
  • Managing client request tickets and prioritising accordingly
  • Collaborating with the team to solve complex issues and improve support procedures

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft .NET C# language (ideally in VB.NET)
  • Understanding of relational database concepts
  • Experience with T-SQL
  • Experience with web technologies, specifically HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with web frameworks, specifically AngularJS, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebAPI, jQuery
  • Some exposure to:
    • Modern source version control systems (such as git, TFS)
    • Automated unit testing frameworks (such as NUnit/XUnit)
