Insight is a publicly listed Global Fortune 500 IT company. specialising in providing B2B software and hardware solutions to our clients.

We are currently seeking a Hardware Specialist to be part of our awesome Sales and Operations team.  This role will provide superior service and assistance to customers and account managers. 

Responsibilities include:-

  • Support account managers in providing prompt service to clients.
  • Processing orders and quotes
  • Assist in educating the customers about Insight.com and related services.
  • Act as the first point of contact for defined customers on all of their licensing enquiries.
  • Interact with other departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints and ensure complaints are resolved to the benefit of Insight and the customer.
  • Develop relationships with vendor partners.
  • Deliver to customers agreed SLA’s.
  • Provide Pre-Sales Support to the sales organisation on Hardware products.
  • Be a subject matter expert on Hardware products, pricing programs, policies and procedures, deal registration and product promotions.
  • Provide direction to the sales organisation on effective utilisation of these programs to drive business.

To be suitable for this role you require:-

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in IT sales
  • Computer hardware/ technical knowledge required
  • Possess strong problem solving, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in customer service relationship building
  • Track record of success overachieving targets
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
