The Information Services Centre of Excellence Lead will be the key driver in establishing, leading and managing the ICT Centre of Excellence function with the objective of uplifting the Project Management and Business Analysis capability maturity.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that IS processes are aligned and optimised end-to-end, driving flexible delivery methods, as well as consistency across the transient workforce.

You will have accountability for managing the Centre of Excellence function, establishing and implementing methodologies, frameworks and techniques to achieve agile and risk appropriate delivery of ICT initiatives. You will bring with you exceptional relationship and communication skills, a natural flair for coaching and consulting and highly attuned problem solving skills. 

In this role you will be working with managers to help develop career paths for project managers and business analysts, coaching on everything from agile practices to requirement workshops.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven leadership experience in program, project management and business analysis in an agile environment.  This experience will have been gained in a high-change environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of ICT project delivery and business analysis methodologies and frameworks, with experience in applying industry best-practice approaches and defined management standards.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex processes and concepts to an audience of varied backgrounds, adapting delivery style to suit experience and knowledge in the audience.
  • Substantial experience consulting or experience working in a matrix environment where adherence to standards and compliance had to be ensured through strong leadership.
  • Experience in process re-engineering and improvement within an outsourced ICT environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Management or Business management, or equivalent experience.
