About Us
OurAuto is the commercial hub within the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC). We provide a range of products including digital services, online automobile technical repair information, insurance and industry consumables that help and support our industry.
About the Role
This is a busy, fun, exciting and at times high-pressured environment, so it will suit someone who enjoys a challenging and demanding role. As a Website Content Editor, you will be responsible for creating exciting digital content for businesses in the automotive industry and other commercial clients. This includes editing photos using Photoshop and placing them onto the website.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Creating and editing content on websites via a CMS
- Editing photos and placing them onto the website
- Interacting directly with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing CMS training to customers as well as providing them with support
- Conducting research on relevant industry information in order to provide accurate content
- Work with the Website Designers to ensure the content fits the design brief developed with the sales staff
- Proof read all content
- Resolve content related technical issues in partnership with the website team
About You
- Demonstrated experience working with content management systems
- Basic knowledge of website structural languages (e.g. HTML, CSS)
- Demonstrated experience using the Adobe Creative Suite. Photoshop experience is essential
- High level attention to detail
- Gifted writer with a perfectionist edge
- Proud of your work from research to release
- Passion to help your clients business grow
- Ability to plan and organise work to meet client expectations and deadlines
- Good understanding of SEO principles and google analytics
- Great customer liaison skills
- Experience in customer complaint management and resolution
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly
An interest in the automotive industry is desired but not required, as is experience with videography.
