About the Role
You will join a large corporation to work on both operational and project assignments. Seeking experience in ETL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI and Transact SQL.
You will have working knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle and are comfortable with capturing and drafting up business and technical requirements as well as developing robust models and creating efficient ETL packages.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintains knowledge of specific specialisms, provides detailed advice regarding their application and executes specialised tasks.
- Creating ETL packages
- Applies data analysis, data modelling, and quality assurance techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of business processes, to establish, modify or maintain data structures and associated components.

- Understands and complies with relevant organisational policies and procedures, taking responsibility for assessing and managing risks around the use of information.
- Takes responsibility for the accessibility, retrievability and security of specific subsets of data.
- Identifies the communications needs of each stakeholder group in conjunction with business owners and subject matter experts.
About You
- Bachelor Degree (or higher) Mandatory Information Technology or similar
- Experience in developing and maintaining data integration solutions (SSIS) to load data files. (Strong knowledge)
- Strong ETL experience
- Experience designing reusable frameworks for data loading and error handling.
- Experience in incremental data loading using one or more programming languages (C# preferred)
- Working knowledge of tabular model development in SQL Server Analysis Services.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Transact SQL or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail, consistency and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language preferably C#
- The ability to think creatively and problem solve is critical.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in reporting applications; Power BI, SSRS and MS Excel.
- Adept at report writing and presenting to audiences at all levels of a large organisation.
