Our business is growing and we are currently seeking experienced labourers, haulers, Team Leaders and pipe provers for an immediate start for ongoing works.
Job tasks and responsibilities
As a Hauler your responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical winch hauling and/or hand installation;
- Manual excavation to remediate blockages expected during the normal course of business;
- Plant maintenance (cleaning);
- Install sub-duct to existing network;
- Break-out & Reinstatement;
- Asbestos works;
- Generate red-lines and as-built construction packs;
- Rod, Rope, Prove existing local network;
- Haul fibre optic cable through new and existing network;
- Complete Telstra manhole studies;
- Collate photo packs;
- In-build/internal hauling and;
- Red line drawings for useable network and new construction.
Skills and experience
Successful candidates will have the following:
- Haulers must have Civil/Hauling communications experience in NBN Construction;
- Team Leaders must have proven track record leading teams
- Fibre-Optic hauling experience;
- Hand-tool experience;
- Manual Drivers Licence & Reliable Vehicle;
- HR licence favourable;
- White Card;
- First Aid and CPR Licence;
- Confined Space and Gas Detection;
- Traffic Management Certificate;
- NBN Safety Awareness Certificate; and
- Telstra Pit and Pipe Accreditation or similar.
