My client, a leader in the healthcare technology space, is looking for a software engineer with extensive experience in AWS RESTful API development.

You will have an enormous opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture and implementation of a cutting-edge product used in everyday healthcare across APAC. 

You will and work closely with product, clinical and business teams to implement and launch the product. Your 
technical skills, cross-functional problem-solving, and team management aptitude will be key to success. You will 
manage the following: 

* Architect, design and implement RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway and underlying DB ETLs 
* Drive continuous improvement (CI) best practices including test driven design and code management 
* Accelerate speed of integration for customers using APIs through combination of technical design, 
documentation, third party integration tools and on-boarding demo environments 
* Design and implementation of security, authentication and privacy policies in line with healthcare data 
management (HIPAA) and GDPR 
* Work cross-functionally with other teams to continually improve operational readiness and availability 
* Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, and maximize business benefit 
* Evaluate and recommend new and emerging products and technologies 

It is required that you have experience with the following: 

* Experience in implementation of REST APIs and Microservices architecture (Lambda) in production 
environments in AWS 
* Professional experience in software development, with deep knowledge of Java or .NET SDKs 
* Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, RDBMS, NoSQL 
* Expert in implementation of 'CI/CD' utilising industry leading tools with GIT 
* Experience in Agile team and technology management with SCRUM 
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly valuable 
* Experience in leading engineering teams and technical roadmaps working closely product managers
