PULSE solutions include warehouse management, inventory management, transport / freight management, EDI, RF, Voice, RFID, mobile, and web portal applications.
Continuing growth means that we are now looking for an experienced Application Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, results orientated and able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Your key skills will be in designing, developing, and maintaining software to enhance PULSE application software products.
Responsibilities:
- Development of software based on technical and functional program specifications.
- Analysis, troubleshooting and unit testing of new and existing programs.
- Adhering to company standards and procedures in the development and deployment of software.
- Keeping relevant stakeholders up-to-date throughout the course of a project.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of programming principles, development methodologies, and tool sets
- Good understanding of database development principles and thin client application development
- Attention to detail in all aspects of the role
- Solution-driven with a customer service focus
- Good communication skills
- Good organisation and planning skills
Experience with Progress OpenEdge development tools would be an advantage. A minimum of 3 years commercial programming experience is required. A strong development skill set with modern programming languages supported by relevant tertiary qualifications is essential.
