An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced ICT Systems Analyst to join The Scots College on a full-time permanent basis.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the capacity to champion and promote the
College’s internal systems and business processes including, but not limited to:
The College Portal, Learning Management and Student Management Systems.
You will act as a change agent who identifies the organizational improvements needed, analyse, document and improve current systems and processes to meet the users’ business needs.
Working within a dynamic educational environment you will be required to work alongside both academic and administration support staff.

Key responsibilities:
- Working with stakeholders to formulate and document business requirements.
- Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour.
- Deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system.
- Working as part of a team and following project management methodologies: assisting with and documenting, project stages, costs, resources and managing outcomes.
- Developing functional specifications for use by system developers.
- Designing, developing, modifying and implementing short-and long-term solutions to business requirements through new and existing applications/systems.
- Commitment to the development of ‘best practice’ strategies regarding all internal systems
Essential Selection Criteria:
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with Synergetic (Student Management System) or Schoolbox (Learning Management/Portal System)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation/reporting.
- Capacity and willingness to align with and support the values and mission of The Scots College in everything they do both onsite or offsite while representing the College in any way.
- Demonstrate capacity and willingness to comply with all College policies.
Desirable:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills ability to work within the confinements of the existing system
