Software Support Engineer (Level 2/3)

Founded in 2009 in San Francisco, my client are a fast growing Cloud Computing company that produces a SaaS incident response platform for IT departments.
Since 2009 they have grown rapidly, securing over $70million in funding, have offices across the globe, with a big focus now for their Sydney office.
The Role:
My client works with customers such as, UBER, Nestle, Air BnB, Netflix, and therefore need first class people to join there expanding support team. The successful applicant will come form a strong Software Support background, as ultimately as a Tier 2 Support Engineer you will be take on all duties which has been escalated from Tier 1.
This is a on-site, office based position and there is an on-call rota which you would be part of.
Responsibilities/Experience:
- Successfully debug and resolve customer issues through the use of multiple support tools
- Experience in writing code in either PHP, Python, Perl etc.
- Know your way round Unix/Linux System tools
- Ideally you would have experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios, Zenoss and Zabbix
- Strong background in a software support environment
