Due to an exciting period of growth, we have a new opportunity for a WMS Analyst (OFSC and Mobile Application) to join the project team in Burwood. The purpose of this role is to maintain and develop the suite of components which make up the Pulse solution. The WMS Analyst (OFSC and Mobile Application) Analyst will have a primary focus on the Oracle Fields Service Cloud (OFSC) optimiser and the mobile application built in Feed Henry on a Red Hat platform, used in Pulse.

The role will include the investigation and triage of queries, liaising with application vendors where required. Document known issue workarounds and manage reporting requirements. Managing the patching of the components, reviewing release notes, testing and minor enhancements.

About the Role

This is a pivotal role within the Ventia Pulse solution and is critical to the success of Ventia's business goals and strategy. Key responsibilities will be to:

  • Become the SME for the mobile application and OFSC within the Pulse BAU support team.
  • Understand, manage and maintain the mobile application used by Pulse.
  • Understand, manage and maintain OFSC optimiser used by Pulse.
  • Respond to queries and undertake analysis.
  • Manage patching and releases of Pulse components ensuring appropriate testing is completed prior to migration to the production environment.
  • Review release notes to understand functionality changes in releases. 
  • Provide guidance on Pulse components to teams in other areas of Ventia ICT.
  • Work closely with the Level 2 incident support team to analyse issues and undertake problem management.
  • Liaise with vendors to manage support issues relating to Pulse.
  • Apply continuous service improvements by streamlining processes and achieving efficiencies.
  • Assist with testing of enhancements made by the Pulse BAU team.
  • Transition new enhancements from the Pulse project team and amend processes accordingly.
  • Acts as a team player and assists colleagues and Ventia Management in successful business delivery and improvement of services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will hold a Tertiary Qualification in IT, related discipline or relevant industry experience. Your experience will include:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an application support and development role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies:
    • Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC).
    • Feed Henry.
    • Red Hat.
    • Service Now.
  • A track record in picking up new technologies.
  • Demonstrate experience working with API’s.
  • Technical and Service management experience. ITIL Service Management Certification preferred.
