Your role will involve developing and maintaining the tools used to manage multi-year infrastructure projects as well as establishing and embedding the processes and use of this tool within your team. Your first project will be working alongside a high performing team of consultants delivering a major infrastructure transformation for an ASX50 client.

Our ideal candidate will have either, 1 to 3 years general business or IT experience, or at least a bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science or business information systems. Experience working in a project environment is preferred. Knowledge of IT infrastructure would be helpful but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior practitioners on both client deliverables and internal projects
• Participate in projects at various stages ranging from initial assessment through process, design and implementation
• Ability to compile, collate and analyse large data sets using computer science skills
• Assist with research and metrics development tracking
• Analyse process flows and identify opportunities for improvement
• Work with senior staff and project managers to develop automated dashboard reports
• Document key processes and collaborate on improvements
• Lead and oversee status reporting and communications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, ideally with a computer science or programming focus
• 1 -3 years general business or IT experience
• A desire to specialise in front-end development with experience in database concepts
• Proficiency with most of the following tools: Advanced Excel, Visio, Microsoft SharePoint, SQL, Confluence, Office365, Microsoft PowerBI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of issues and their resolution
• Detail orientated with good organisation skills and basic project management knowledge
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours with the possibility of travel

This is a team role where you will be working closely with colleagues and client stakeholders in an IT infrastructure focused domain.
