Large Bank is about to undertake an multiple (20) application migrations across to a new system. The respective data marts / data sources require a definition phase to ascertain the usage, owners, sources, dependancies etc  prior to the actual migration.

As such, we require a Data Discovery Business Analyst that has worked on a large data migration project. 

You will ultimately be responsible for driving this project - as such Project Management skills are essential. 

Key responsibilities:

• Develop business requirements; scope process/systems change proposals and statements to support the department’s business technologies, systems and tools
• Analyse, evaluate, define, document, maintain and track business requirements
• Analyse, evaluate, define and document business and system processes and identify and document underlying business requirements and rules
• Perform data discovery, analysis and modeling - analyse, evaluate and define data requirements, usage and structure
• Develop relationships with data owners, marketing teams, business and technology stakeholders.
• Project Manage the data discovery phase - working in a collaborative Agile environment. 
• Define user acceptance testing and testing schedule.
• Jira & SQL knowledge would be beneficial. 

Selection criteria:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• 4+ years’ ICT Business Analyst / Project Manager experience
• Demonstrated experience working in agile teams
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Strong Data knowledge. 
• Able to use Jira.

Based in Sydney's CBD, paying $600/day + GST.
