Our Client is a leading provider of Information, Communication & Technology (ICT) solutions to the SME & Corporate markets located in Wollongong.
With over 30 years in the industry, we are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed I.T. Systems Administrator to join our growing team or support professionals.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this opportunity will expose the successful candidate to a wide range of products, services & skill sets utilised to deploy Information Technology solutions to a diverse range of clients & industries.
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Ability to diagnose & resolve hardware & software related network infrastructure issues
- Provide on-site ‘field’ network administrator support services, including installations, diagnostics, repairing, maintaining & upgrades of hardware & software systems
- Provide Level 3 phone, e-mail & remote support services for any escalated Helpdesk ticketed issues
- Management & maintenance services for a wide range of ICT networks
- Deliver accurate & detailed auditing of network environments
- Assist with network project implementation services
- Ability to take ownership of given jobs, tasks and activities and ensure outcomes are resolved with a high level of customer service & satisfaction
Key Knowledge (include but not limited to):
- Understanding of outsourced & MSP style support systems
- Formal qualifications and / or combination of demonstrated competency in on-site ‘field’ systems administration & network management
- Experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems
- Experience with Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 & Cloud-based deployments
- Experience with Microsoft Office Application Software
- Understanding of LAN & WAN network environments
- Experience with Remote Desktop, Virtualisations & Hyper-V environments
Desirable:
- Previous experience with MSP style businesses supporting the SMB markets
- Exposure to Managed Services support systems or other RMM (ConnectWise & LabTech preferred)
- 3-4 years past experience within the ICT industry
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail & time management skills
- ITIL understanding and / or certifications
- Microsoft certification
Essential:
- The ability to work under pressure, autonomously & in a team environment
- Be professional, reliable, punctual, organised & well presented
- Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills (fluent in English)
- Must demonstrated exceptional customer service skills
- Industry qualifications (TAFE diploma minimal)
- Must have a current Australian Driver’s License & Car
- Must be at least an Australian Permanent Resident
Package:
Total package will depend on candidates’ individual skills & experience, and will incorporate all industry & legislative requirements.
